ZONING COMMISSION
ALTERNATE POSITION
The Troy Township Trustees are seeking qualified and dedicated alternates on the Zoning Commission. The Zoning Commission is comprised of 5 regular and 2 alternate members, all of whom are responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on zoning matters within the resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and contribute directly to the decisions that affect our community’s growth and character.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attend all regular meetings of the Zoning Commission, held on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Troy Township Community Center.

Attend all special meetings of the Zoning Commission, held when needed.

Substitute for an absent regular member and vote on agenda items, which may include reviewing zoning text amendments and map amendments.
REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must be a resident of Troy Township.

Interested in community planning and land use regulations.
